Blasfolie Partners with Suryanesia to Adopt Clean Energy at Its Karawang Factory

JAKARTA, investor.id – PT Blasfolie Internasional Indonesia has partnered with renewable energy company Suryanesia to adopt a rooftop Solar Power Plant system. The initiative is part of the company’s commitment to building an environmentally friendly production facility.

A 730 kWp rooftop solar system has been officially installed at Blasfolie’s factory in Karawang, West Java. This collaboration marks a concrete step by Blasfolie in supporting the Net Zero Emission target and strengthening its sustainability practices based on ESG principles.

With this rooftop solar system, Blasfolie is projected to generate 985,685 kWh of clean energy per year and reduce carbon emissions by up to 773,171 kg of CO₂ annually.

Kennie Angesty, Director of PT Blasfolie Internasional Indonesia, explained that this collaboration is a concrete demonstration of the company’s environmental responsibility. The initiative also supports long term operational cost efficiency, particularly in electricity usage.

“We want to be part of the solution to climate change by adopting clean energy. We chose Suryanesia because they not only offer reliable technical solutions but also uphold strong safety practices and quality standards,” Kennie said in a press statement on Wednesday, 21 May 2025.

Meanwhile, Suryanesia CEO Rheza Adhihusada expressed his appreciation for Blasfolie’s trust. “We are proud to support Blasfolie in its transition to clean energy. Their strong commitment made the installation process smooth and efficient,” Rheza said.

This collaboration is part of Suryanesia’s contribution to driving industrial transformation toward renewable energy through its Solar as a Service solution. The system enables industrial players to use solar energy without large upfront investment, allowing cost savings to be achieved immediately and sustainably.
